Hi guys,

I've been following this project for a while, maybe a year or so. I modified
the beer example which was a good template to do a mini-project. anyway, the
documentation was confusing for me, so it was too hard to do some of the
complex stuff. I'm a self-learned perl programmer. I do a some OOP stuff,
but mostly its scripts or short programs (I'm mainly a sysadmin, but sometimes
some web projects). Main difficulty I found was the terminology. Don't think
thats really anyone's fault. I need to read more docs or examples on OOP, i
guess, so I can be comfortable with the wordage.

One thing i remember I couldn't figure out was many-to-many relationships. It
seemed really complex thing to do with maypole & class::dbi. Page on doing it
with class::dbi was really long and I got confused half way. Doing it myself
is kind of annoying, but its not too hard. just takes a few minutes to
picture it and then write the perl code to do it.

Anyway, I want to play with it again, to do this one other project. Was
wondering if all the docs on the website have been updated. and old docs that
aren't compatible with new version have been removed? Also why is the site so
slow? And the download link doesn't work. Or do I have to install a svn
client? Also do you have to have a class::dbi background? I really should
explore the power of OOP & Class::DBI...

Thanks!
