Hi,
1.99 is somewhat of a development release and release candidate.
Sebastian seems optimistic about a soon release of 2.0 - most likely
within the next 48 hours.
If you'd like to help getting 2.0 released as soon as possible, download
1.99 and do some bug hunting.
Regards,
Danijel
