You can check out http://cpants.szabgab.com/, it shows a vanilla
implementation of Maypole and is pretty much how a standard maypole app
looks and feels before you muck about with the templates.

I should have a small ecommerce site un and running in the next week or so
running on Maypole - actually, the backend which nobody sees is in
Maypole, the front is CDBI and mod_perl based on the Maypole framework. I
was able to get a CRUD system working very quickly and I am still pleased
with how well it works.

If I get the time it would be nice to be able to
bundle up the front end stuff (minimal content management, orders,
checkout, catalogue, search, accounts and shopping cart) into components
that plug nicely into Maypole.
